We have removed listings of those who now make their own cinches on a regular basis and/or have expressed a desire for low pricing competitive with synthetic cord cinches.
* Authorized dealers purchase cinches at various times throughout the year. (Please remember that while they may also carry cinches from other sources, our hang-tags clearly identify cinches taht are made by Darin and also indicate our appreciation of you supporting the named Authorized Dealer.) Be aware of misleading labels on cinches produced by another company using Darin's name and the ArtCords educational logo! We advise that those cheaper cinches of old angora goathair are not made with the premium quality, young angora goathair cords which Darin is personally making from custom knitting yarns.
For those of you who first learned of ArtCords through one of the Authorized Dealers and wish to purchase directly from us, be certain to select them from the list when you check-out, or make note in the Customer Comments field so they can be credited with their commission!
**Our ACTIVE Dealers are those who have purchased cinches since January 2011. We provide suggested retail prices and remind consumers that dealers are free to determine their own prices independantly. Please support and encourage our listed dealers as some have the opinion that our products should be priced to compete with cinches of lower quality and much less mohair. Often the Dealers only hear voices of those who are looking for a low price and care nothing of quality. Those of you who understand and appreciate the neccessity for pricing to reflect the premium nature of materials selected and skills required to maintain the highest possible craftsmanship are in the best position to help retailers understand that to avoid stocking quality is to loose quality customers.
It is our desire that you will find what works best for your horse or mule... whether from us, our dealers, or another source!
